Findlay Kiwanis Scholarships

Since 1985, the Kiwanis Clubs of Findlay have provided college scholarships for residents of Hancock County, Originally a joint project between the Findlay Noon and the Fort Findlay Kiwanis Clubs; the Kiwanis Club of Findlay is now the sole caretaker of this scholarship.  The Findlay Kiwanis Scholarship is now supported primarily through the club's Discount Card project and by direct contributions of current Kiwanians.  Over the years, over $100,000 in scholarships have been awarded to over 100 well deserving students.

The Findlay Kiwanis Foundation awards $1,300 scholarships to students pursuing bachelor or advanced degrees and $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing an Associates degree or technical certification. The total number of scholarships are determined by the Findlay Kiwanis Foundation on an annual basis.

The Findlay Kiwanis Scholarships are awarded upon completion of the fall quarter or semester at school. Scholarships are available to residents of Hancock County who are either graduating from High School or are currently enrolled in college or a technical certification program.

Scholarships are awarded based upon a combination of:

  • academic challenge & success
  • community involvement
  • financial need.

‚ÄčKiwanis members and their immediate family are not eligible.
